The First United Methodist Men are sponsoring a trip to Des Moines\, Friday\, June 20th to see the Iowa Cubs and the El Paso Chihuahuas play. This is AAA Baseball action. The game will start at 7:05 p.m. with the gates opening 90 minutes before the game time and the picnic will start at the same time. The cost is $23.00 per person and includes the following:

\n\n\; \; \; \; \; \; \; \; \; Picnic in the Register Media Veranda (next to the Cub Club in the Left Field Corner)
\n\n\;
\n\n\; \; \; \; \; \; \; \; \; All you can eat hamburgers(veggie burgers on request)\, hot dogs\, potato salad\, chip\, and soft drink
\n\n\;
\n\n\; \; \; \; \; \; \; \; \; Your choice of an Iowa Cubs Cap or T-shirt(XL only)
\n\n\;
\n\n\; \; \; \; \; \; \; \; \; Reserve Grandstand seat behind 3rd base (Good seats)
\n\n\;
\n\n\; \; \; \; \; \; \; \; \; Post game fireworks
\n\n\;
\n\nAll First United Methodist Church members\, their families and friends are invited to attend. We must purchase at least 25 tickets (32 seats have been reserved behind 3rd base) and payment must be received by Sunday\, June 1\, 2014. \n\nI suggest that we car pool and leave the West Church Parking Lot by 4:15 p.m. Your tickets will be distributed at that time unless you make other arrangements with Dick. This would allow us to be in the picnic area before 6 o&rsquo\;clock\, giving us plenty of time to eat and be in our seats for the first pitch.
