DESCRIPTION:The 21st Annual Scrooge Contest kicks off today! Look for food collection boxes and money collection cans all around Atlantic throughout November. All funds raised and food collected goes to the Atlantic Food Pantry. The winner will be announced Tuesday November 21st by the media. The winner will serve as Grand Marshall in the Lighted Parade on December 2nd and all contestants will be featured at the beginning of the parade.\n\n\n\nThe 2023 Contestants are to be announced soon.\n\n\n\nCash donations are worth 5 points on the dollar and one non-perishable item earns the contestants one point.\n\n \n\nThe Atlantic Food Pantry is asking for a specific list of food items\, with a focus on monetary donations due to limited storage space.
