Fireman's Picnic & Parade

1^st Annual Firemen’s Picnic & Parade


Come to 6th Street between Poplar & Chestnut and enjoy the 1st annual Firemen's Picnic & Parade October 10th, 2015. The picnic is from 4-6p.m. with a $6 meal that includes Brisket, Chips, Baked Beans and a Drink. There will be entertainment for all ages! Clowns, Face Painters and a Bounce House will be available along with performances by Isiserettes Drill and Drumline and Pleasant Green Baptist Church Marching Saints. 

Following the picnic, head to Downtown Atlantic for the Firemen's Parade! The parade will begin at 6 p.m. at 2nd & Walnut Street. To be a part of the parade, please begin line up at 4 p.m. at 3rd & Olive Street.

To help celebrate Fire Prevention Week, please join the Atlantic Fire Department October 4th for the Annual Donation Breakfast. Breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. - 12 p.m. Breakfast will include eggs, sausage & pancakes!




Firemen’s Picnic  “Smokin’ The    

Competition”

Join the Atlantic Fire Department October 10^th, 2015 for the 1^st annual BBQ Smoke-Off! The competition will take place at 6^th Street between Poplar & Chestnut (North of City Park) from 4p.m. – 6p.m. Meat and brisket will be provided for you. Your responsibility is to smoke enough meat to serve 300 people during the Firemen’s Picnic. Sides and Beverages will be provided.

You may begin setting up your smoking station Friday, October 9^th at 4p.m. 1^st place will receive $200 AtlantiCash. 2^nd place will receive $100 AtlantiCash. 3^rd place will receive $50 AtlantiCash. There is no entry fee!
