Personal Accounts of Men and Women in Slavery

The Friends of Hitchcock House present readings from the narratives of ex-slaves gathered by the WPA during the 1930s depression. The program will also feature a display and discussion of vintage chairs made by a former slave, William Kunze. Bring your lawn chairs and spend a relaxing afternoon with us in the Red Barn at the Hitchcock House.
