STEM Day at the Iowa State Fair

What: STEM Day at the Iowa State Fair Date: Sunday, August 19, 2018 STEM Day at the Iowa State Fair is taking over the Grand Concourse again! Join us for a fun and interactive day on Extreme Sunday—the lowest-priced day at the Iowa State Fair. STEM Day at the Iowa State Fair, hosted by the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council is an exciting day filled with hands-on activities centered around science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Beginning at 9 a.m., admission to the Fair is only $6 for adults 12 and up, $3 for children ages 6-11 and free for children under the age of 5. Once you get on the Fairgrounds, come see us on the Grand Concourse where Fairgoers of all ages can experience up to 25 hands-on STEM activities, watch STEM stage acts every hour, and complete a checklist along the way to win cool prizes.
